Too much of the good...an old Swedish saying; För mycket av det goda...

Too much of the good make us uneasy.  We cannot live here and now. Too much holidays make us bored - we must seek inspiration in useless things - sport, gardening, art, collecting things and playing games online. Too much sugar make the whole western world heavy and stiff, only the use of fluoride makes this possible without destroying the teeth - one poison against another - to much of different poisons and its poisonous antidotes, sooner or later makes people sick and in the subtle zone of body-mind strange things happen - too strange to understand - the riddle of cancer - the riddle of anorexia - the riddle of addiction and overdoses.

Too much of everything is dangerous and in politics EU is coming close to Turkey after taking in the former Soviet Satellites and small states, like Sweden, have to explain how it was possible to build the over-consumption state in the middle of war and post war starvation in the east. How was it possible to make too much of everything - pollution,  industrial architecture, factories and plants, toys and supermarkets - while the millions of the east had to suck the bottle of vodka to stand the grim realities of communist life, where only Red Army weaponry were prioritized?
Always too little of something.
Scars of unsafety, revolutionary scars; families extinct but a few survivors, strengthened by the accidents, suddenly is in charge of everything, in former dialectic-materialistic satellite states.

In the healed region a broken bone seldom breaks again.

In the cracks, life begins is a geological observation that could be used as a metaphor for something psychological; to much safety makes young people less and less scared and willing to mensur fight again - searching the risk - close to death - swirling on the motorbikes  - swirling in space, landing on the moon. Grown up risk taking is certainly more spectacular than the risk taking of the kid, but the one is as dangerous as the other.
Childish dreams come real in the technology of grown up men and women. Scientists and politicians can now and then realize the impossible - go to the moon, split the atom and now the gene.
Strange things happen on the fronts of biological technology.

New life forms see the light. Man creates new species.
In the cracks of ethics the new world grows - gruesome in the catastophical aspects but beautiful under the world view of the Evolution.

Spacetime ethics is something else than the tree dimensional ethics of the dialectic materialism, but time heals all wounds, for the believers as well as for the skeptics.
