When you were a young student the feelings of being alive were boosted by meeting
interesting people.
When you are the middle-aged head of a growing family you look at your car through
the kitchen window to boost this feeling.
When you become grandfather and the days are long you polish this car
instead of caressing your spouse
And you think of your bank accounts to boost
the feeling of being alive.
